Really? This is Georgia? We are freezing! Tom started back to school today, I start back tomorrow teaching again and Thomas is back in preschool. Mostly I just want to layer on the clothes and snuggle with the space heater.
We had to do the mad scramble the last couple of days searching for gloves to fit a 2 year old. No easy feat, but Walmart saved the day! I will try to get a picture of Thomas in all his gear - it's pretty funny and a little daunting getting him crammed in the car seat. But, his teacher emailed all the parents today and said they would try to get outside at least for a few minutes, so bundle them up. It might have gotten up to 20 degrees by the time they hit the garden (that's a playground when you go to a Waldorf School).
We've also discovered that our house is seriously lacking in insulation- top and bottom. Happy New Year to Lowe's - we're investing in insulation and Tom will be coming back over and over to get this house warmer!
